Show Your Stuff with Pecha Kucha

stageWe're offering you the stage. There's one simple rule: twenty slides for twenty seconds. Show or tell whatever you want: an exciting project or an axe to grind. 20 x 20 = six minutes and forty seconds. The stage is yours. Entertain us. Then sit down.

This is Pecha Kucha (Japanese for "chitchat"). This stimulating format has tapped into a demand for a forum in which creative work can be easily and informally shown without having to rent a gallery or chat up a magazine editor.

Discover Pecha Kucha at pecha-kucha.org. Then prepare to present. Ramp up your rant. Wind up and wow us. Assemble your slides and submit to appear on the NESEA Night stage on Wednesday, March 12.

How To Submit

Let us know what you are planning. When your presentation is ready, post the file - the final deadline is March 7 - but the sooner the better. Depending on the response, not everyone may get to present - so do something to WOW us!

STEP 1:

Send an email to pechakuchabe08@gmail.com with your name, contact information, and the topic  of your presentation. We want to know who wants to present and what you're planning.

STEP 2:

When you are ready to send us your presentation, go to box.net.

Password: presentation

STEP 3:

Click the "upload" button. Then simply select the files from your computer.

Please note: Files should be uploaded as Power Point presentations, JPEGs or PDFs. Files are limited to 10MB each. Please name your files in such a way that we can identify the author.

STEP 4:

Log out.

STEP 5:

Send an email to pechakuchabe08@gmail.com letting us know you have uploaded your presentation. Please include, again, your name, contact information, and the names of your files.
